We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Gages Lake. This role is vital in helping K-12 students overcome communication barriers and achieve their full academic and social potential. Key Responsibilities
  • Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive screenings and formal evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • IEP Development: Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals tailored to each student’s unique needs.
  • Direct Therapy: Provide high‑quality individual and group therapy sessions utilizing both "push‑in" (classroom‑based) and "pull‑out" service delivery models.
  • Collaboration: Act as a consultant for teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate communication strategies into the student’s daily routine and curriculum.
  • Compliance: Maintain meticulous documentation of student progress and attend all relevant IEP meetings in accordance with Illinois state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Illinois State License (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) with a Speech‑Language Pathologist endorsement.
