Salary: The starting salary range is $58,000 to $70,371 annually. Candidates holding an LCSW or LCPC may be considered for a starting salary up to $78,864.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Perform comprehensive, in‑depth assessments for a variety of program services and intake as assigned.
- Provide a full range of case management, counseling, therapeutic interventions, advocacy, skill‑building, and related services.
- Identify agency and community resources and assess community conditions affecting clients to identify resource gaps and problems.
- Recommend financial assistance for clients.
- Provide group services as indicated by program need.
- Maintain contractual requirements such as 24‑hour coverage, if required.
- Represent and interpret agency programs in the community.
- Serve on regional or agency‑wide committees, as needed.
- Meet agency expectations for quantity of direct service.
- Comply with agency record‑keeping expectations.
- Work effectively with diverse staff and service populations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Require mobility to work with a community‑based caseload.
- Maintain assigned community and home‑based services.
- Work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Master's degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university (required).
- Licensed professional counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) (required).
- 2+ years of experience working in the mental health field with clients across their lifespan (preferred).
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or experience with clients experiencing substance use (preferred).
- Satisfactorily pass all screenings and criminal background checks.
- Driving for work required; transportation of clients preferred in a personally owned vehicle. Travel between sites not required.
While performing essential duties, the employee must sit and stand for sustained periods, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Close visual acuity is required for analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
