Clinical Faculty – Child & Adolescent Psychologist

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Rush is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health and neurodevelopmental care. The team uses a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to diagnostic assessment and treatment planning. Due to clinical growth, we are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at our Northbrook clinical location.

Position Details
  • Collaborative group of clinical psychologists.
  • 100% outpatient-based role.
  • Fully based at our outpatient location in Northbrook, IL.
  • Work closely with specialized behavioral health staff, pediatrics, neurology, and developmental medicine divisions across the Rush System.
  • Engage with a vibrant academic community including an established didactic training program, internal fellowship programs, and ongoing research initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No inpatient rounding or call responsibilities.
  • Primarily serve children and young adults presenting with a broad range of neurodevelopmental conditions, with occasional adult assessments as needed.
  • Balance clinical intakes, specialized testing, and family feedback sessions.
  • Participate in teaching as part of the department's didactic program (available and encouraged, but not required).
  • Opportunity to engage in research projects (independent research or external funding not mandatory).
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $114,000 - $147,000.

Competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, incentive programs, sign-on and retention bonuses, relocation allowances, and a comprehensive benefits package.
