Summary:
Psychologists evaluate, diagnose, and treat people with mental, emotional, behavioral, educational, and developmental disorders. We are seeking a Psychologist to support our patients' well-being. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, gathering history, diagnosing issues using tests, and developing treatment plans. The Psychologist will interview patients and perform diagnostic tests to understand their mental health issues.
Ultimately, you will provide individual treatment options to help people better understand themselves and assist others in changing behaviors and alleviating problems. This role incorporates current mental health and addiction care standards in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and patient care standards. The clinical director also oversees budget, quality, cost, and service excellence, supervises human resources, and ensures high-quality care and service.

Job Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Psychology, completion of Pre-doctoral Internship, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Must hold or be eligible for NM licensure as a Psychologist.
- Degrees from accredited institutions above the minimum requirement may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Knowledge of current special education methodologies, accreditation standards, crisis intervention techniques, and psychological testing.
- Ability to assess, record symptoms, communicate effectively, evaluate progress, and maintain confidentiality.
- Skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and maintaining patient records.
- Must maintain emotional stability to handle stressful situations.
- Position involves diagnosing, evaluating, administering tests, developing treatment plans, and maintaining records.
