Do you enjoy creating meaningful experiences for others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of older adults? The Admiral at the Lake is seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our Resident Services team.

In this role, you'll develop and lead engaging recreational, therapeutic, and social activities that promote independence, wellness, and quality of life for our residents.

This part-time position works three days per week, including:

• Every Sunday
• Two additional weekdays (excluding Thursdays and Saturdays)

• Plan, organize, and lead meaningful group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Promote resident engagement and encourage participation in activities.
• Escort residents to and from programs and community outings.
• Document attendance, resident participation, and progress in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Assist with resident assessments, progress notes, and MDS documentation as assigned.
• Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Coordinate repairs and recommend new equipment and activity ideas.
• Visit residents who are unable to attend group activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support person-centered care.
• Participate in department meetings, training, and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 12 years of experience leading recreational, therapeutic, or life enrichment programs for older adults.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred.
• Dementia care training or certification is a plus.
• Creative backgrounds such as music therapy, art therapy, education, or recreational therapy are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with older adults and creating engaging experiences.

• Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Escort residents throughout the community and during outings.
• Lift, move, or transport equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Work in an environment that may include exposure to blood borne pathogens, infectious diseases, loud noises, unpleasant odors, and challenging resident behaviors.
