Registered Dietitian

Nourishment Works, PC is a dynamic counseling and nutrition practice based at 3921 N Lincoln Ave in Chicago, Illinois. We provide personalized, weight-inclusive nutrition and wellness services to individuals seeking support with their health goals, and our clients receive evidence-based guidance tailored to their unique medical and lifestyle needs. Our team of caring, supportive therapists and dietitians works out of a beautiful, welcoming office space in Chicago, and we believe great client care starts with a team that genuinely supports one another.

Role Description

We're looking for a Registered Dietitian who's ready to grow a flourishing client schedule within a practice that sets you up to succeed. You'll provide direct nutritional counseling, conduct assessments, develop individualized nutrition care plans, and offer ongoing support and follow-up, all while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of dietitians and therapists who are as invested in your success as their own.

You'll also have the opportunity to run nutrition groups, adding variety and community connection to your clinical work. Day-to-day responsibilities include applying Medical Nutrition Therapy for a range of conditions, documenting sessions in compliance with professional standards, and coordinating care with other providers as needed. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach, and experience supporting eating disorder recovery and intuitive eating
• Demonstrated skills in Nutritional Counseling, including client assessment, goal setting, and behavior change support
• Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy for a range of health conditions in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Active Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential and state licensure (or eligibility) for Illinois
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered and non-judgmental approach
• Comfort collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including co-facilitating or running nutrition groups
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both in-person and virtual visits and maintaining confidentiality
• Prior outpatient counseling or private practice experience is beneficial
