Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

This travel Registered Respiratory Therapist job in Chicago, IL with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel Registered Respiratory Therapist contract at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. This role pays $2,385 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this travel Registered Respiratory Therapist job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Must hold all required Registered Respiratory Therapist certifications and licenses as mandated by Illinois and national regulatory bodies

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago — Chicago, IL

Lurie's allied work is entirely pediatric — children's trauma imaging, a large pediatric surgical platform, and the imaging and therapy that support a NICU, PICU, and nationally ranked cardiac program.

  • The Level I pediatric trauma center runs dedicated diagnostic radiology suites and CT for injured children around the clock.
  • Twenty-one operating rooms and an ACS Level I children's surgery center drive pediatric surgical-tech and perioperative roles.
  • A nationally #1-ranked pediatric cardiology and cardiac-surgery program supports pediatric cath-lab and EP work.
  • The NICU and PICU carry pediatric and neonatal respiratory therapy, with transplant and ECMO adding specialized procedural roles.
  • Pediatric imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound) and rehabilitation therapies (PT, OT, speech) run at children's-hospital scale.
