Pay Range: $29.36 - $47.79 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to be part of the Rush University Medical Center’s Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department at the Rush West Side Mental Health Center!

Job SummaryThis position in the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department is based in West Garfield Park and will staff the Rush West Side Mental Health Center, an extension of the existing SWaCH Psychotherapy Clinic located just east in the Illinois Medical District. This position is part of a larger initiative ( Sankofa Wellness Village ), specifically under the Rush Center for Community Well-Being in the Sankofa Village Wellness Center .
This position will join an exciting team of individuals who are working to improve health equity on Chicago’s West Side through community engagement, mental health support, and other programming. We are looking for an individual dedicated to supporting our community and who will work collaboratively alongside other tenants of the building.
To best support the mental health needs of this population (a need that has been consistently identified by the community through Rush’s Community Health Needs Assessment and focus groups as the Sankofa Wellness Village concept has been implemented), we are looking for candidates with a strong background in mental health treatment, including experience with medically and psychosocially complex populations, and with an interest in intervening with West Side community members and Rush patients dynamically – offering individual therapy in-person and/or via telehealth.
