Schedule: Opportunities available dayshift – travel
Facility: SVP Program
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: up to $40.00 hourly

Position Summary

As a Master Level Mental Health Professional – SVP Pre-Release Evaluator, you'll conduct specialized assessments and evaluations of incarcerated individuals with sexual offense histories. Working collaboratively with clinical leadership and correctional partners, you will:

  • Monitor release timelines and identify individuals requiring pre‑release evaluations
  • Review institutional records and conduct comprehensive clinical interviews to assess treatment needs and risk factors
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports that provide recommendations for supervision, treatment, and community‑based services
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure evaluations are completed accurately and in accordance with program standards
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and utilize electronic medical record systems as required
  • Participate in required training, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities

You’ll go beyond assessment. You’ll provide critical clinical insight that supports informed decision‑making, successful reentry planning, and safer communities

What You’ll Need
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent
  • Sex Offender Evaluator certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  • Current CPR certification
  • Two years of post‑degree clinical experience preferred
  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems preferred
