Moon Rabbit Acupuncture is a wellness sanctuary located in the Greater Chicago Area, dedicated to providing patient-centered care. The practice offers a calm, restorative environment where community members can address physical, emotional, and mental health needs. Moon Rabbit Acupuncture emphasizes individualized treatment plans, integrating evidence-informed practices with time-honored healing traditions. Team members collaborate to support clients in achieving balance, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Role Description

The Acupuncturist will provide comprehensive on-site care in the Greater Chicago Area, including intake assessments, diagnosis, and delivery of acupuncture and related therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, performing acupuncture and adjunct techniques, and educating clients on ongoing wellness practices. The Acupuncturist will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, follow clinic protocols, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in all treatment areas.

The role also involves collaborating with other wellness providers, supporting client scheduling and follow-up, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment. This is an on-site role in West Loop & Lincoln Park with opportunities for growth. Must be able to commit to minimum 2 shifts per week.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
  • Licensed & Board Certified.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Acupuncture, including assessment, point selection, and safe, effective treatment techniques.
  • Experience with adjunctive therapies such as Moxibustion, Cupping and although not required, Herbs. Has the ability to incorporate these modalities into treatment plans when appropriate.
  • Able to provide proof of current state licensure / documentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and gender-neutral care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative wellness team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • 3+ years experience in a clinical or wellness setting and interest in community-oriented practice within the Greater Chicago Area are beneficial.
  • Ability to attend off-site events as needed.
