IOP - Phlebotomist Rover

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Near North Kostner – North and Kostner Community Health Ctr: 1520 N. Koster Ave., Chicago, IL. 60651.

• Monday:
  Near North Oakwood Shore 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
• Tuesday:
  Near North Kostner 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
• Saturday:
  Near North Kostner 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.

$17.50 – $24.50 per hour.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.

Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
