Inpatient Hematology (per diem) Advanced Practice Provider –RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center.

• Five fellow inpatient Hematology Advanced Practice Providers
• The position is on a 10‑hour shift schedule
• Coverage: seven days per week (days only)
• Reports to the Lead Inpatient Hematology APP
• 100% inpatient focus

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration among multiple disciplines to ensure cost‑effective and quality patient care, and will act in accordance with Rush mission, vision, and values and all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a cancer‑related specialty
• For APRN candidates, Acute Care Certification is required

• Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Illinois, or eligibility to obtain it through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty appropriate to the position
• Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant/Associate in the State of Illinois, or eligibility to obtain it through IDFPR
• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
• Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Per diem rate:$75 per hour.
