Job Description The Appointment Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the master schedule of patient appointments for outpatient clinic visits. This includes scheduling appointments for new and return patients, ensuring the patient is registered in the EMR, sending notifications of upcoming appointments to patients, maintaining the clinic schedule, and orienting new patients and families to the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Registers patient correctly which includes updating addresses, insurance, guardianship and health information.

Accurately schedules individual patient appointments.

Provides excellence in customer service to all customers, patients, families, Shriners, visitors and other employees.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED1 Year Microsoft Office Applications Basic Life Support (BLS); must obtain within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

1 Year Scheduling, registration and insurance verification

Bilingual English/Spanish The pay range for this position is $19.92 - $29.87.Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
