Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule Management:
Create and maintain balanced shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing, meet resident care needs, and comply with regulations.Attendance & Payroll:
Track attendance, call-outs, and tardiness, while assisting with payroll preparation.HR
Collaboration:
Partner with HR on retention, recruitment, leaves of absence (FMLA/non-FMLA), and employee status changes.Shortage Resolution:
Manage immediate staffing gaps by coordinating replacements, adjusting schedules, or utilizing agency staff.Reporting & Compliance:
Generate absenteeism and overtime reports, and ensure all scheduling adheres to facility policies.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Certification:
Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Certification is preferred.Experience:
Demonstrated experience with staffing schedules, ideally within a healthcare or long-term care setting.Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication.Work Style:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to manage daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.
