As a group therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients.

Our virtual programs meet the needs of modern healthcare, providing flexibility for both patients and clinicians while increasing access to fundamental care.
This is a full-time, virtual position that will support our evening hours, which are 12:30-8:30pm CST Monday through Friday.What You'll Do:
- Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients
- Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
- Relaying relevant clinical information to treatment team during daily rounds and as needed
- Developing program material and adjusting group therapy content, as needed, to fit group needs
- Engaging in crisis management, as needed
- Creating and updating treatment plans
- Charting in our electronic medical records system
- This position may also include meeting with patients individually for case management
- Are passionate about facilitating group therapy and seeking an environment to work collaboratively with others
- Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist
- Provisional or independent clinical license in the state of Illinois
- Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills
- Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting (preferred, not required)

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.
Compensation: $47,000 USD - $65,000 USD

Compass fills a critical gap between outpatient and inpatient care through an intermediate level of Behavioral Healthcare.
