We are seeking an Outpatient Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our outpatient team. In this role, you will supervise therapists and interns, provide guidance on complex clinical cases, promote professional development, and help ensure services are delivered in accordance with ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

The Outpatient Clinical Supervisor will also maintain an outpatient therapy caseload and provide evidence-based psychotherapy through regularly scheduled sessions. Services are delivered using a client-centered approach grounded in CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and other clinically appropriate modalities.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing documentation, supporting quality and compliance initiatives, assisting with onboarding and training, and fostering a collaborative, accountable, and supportive team environment. This position works closely with Clinical Leadership and other departments to strengthen clinical practices, improve client outcomes, and support the continued growth of outpatient services.

Job Summary:

The Outpatient Clinical Supervisor serves as the primary clinical and day-to-day leader for an assigned Blue Kite Wellness outpatient location. This role combines direct clinical practice with clinical supervision, staff leadership, quality oversight, site development, and operational coordination. The Clinical Supervisor maintains an outpatient therapy caseload while supporting clinicians, promoting high-quality care, staff accountability, compliance, and a positive site culture. The role also partners closely with Clinical Leadership, Operations, Human Resources, Intake and Scheduling, Billing, and other departments to support provider capacity, clinician utilization, referral growth, and effective site operations.

The balance between clinical and leadership responsibilities will evolve as the site grows.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain an active outpatient therapy caseload in accordance with organizational expectations.
  • Provide clinical supervision to assigned therapists and interns, as permitted by licensure.
  • Support complex cases, clinical concerns, crisis situations, and other higher-risk client needs.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, treatment plans, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct periodic chart reviews and provide coaching or corrective guidance as needed.
  • Serve as the primary on-site clinical and day-to-day leader for the assigned location.
  • Promote staff accountability related to attendance, professionalism, scheduling, productivity, and adherence to policies.
  • Promotes staff engagement, professional growth, teamwork, retention, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate daily site workflow and address clinical, operational, staffing, safety, or facility concerns.
