Senior Clinical Therapist – In-Home Family Coaching

EDGE Counseling Solutions is seeking an experienced, independently licensed therapist to join our growing In-Home Family Coaching service, a premium, highly individualized model designed for families seeking an exceptional level of clinical expertise, responsiveness, and personalized support.

This is not a traditional high-volume outpatient position. It’s an opportunity for a seasoned clinician to work intensively with children ages 5+, adolescents, parents, and families where life actually happens—in their homes, routines, relationships, and everyday challenges.

You’ll have the autonomy to use your clinical expertise, the time to do meaningful family work, and the opportunity to help shape an innovative and growing specialty service.

Instead of hearing about what happens at home, you get to see it—and help families create change in the moment.

You may observe family interactions, coach parents through challenging situations, help establish healthier routines and boundaries, address behavioral or emotional concerns as they occur, and translate clinical insight into practical strategies families can use.

• $110,000-$120,000 annual salary

• Provide individualized In-Home Family Coaching to children ages 5+, adolescents, parents, and families
• Assess family dynamics, behavioral concerns, relationships, and environmental factors
• Provide real-time parent coaching, education, modeling, and clinical intervention
• Help families strengthen communication, boundaries, routines, emotional regulation, and relationships
• Apply family systems, behavioral, attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and other evidence-based approaches
• Coordinate with schools, physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and other professionals when appropriate
• Maintain a select outpatient or other clinical caseload as part of a balanced role
• Contribute your expertise to the continued development of this growing specialty service

You may be a strong fit if you’ve built significant clinical experience and are ready for a role with more depth, autonomy, and variety—and less emphasis on volume.

• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, or a related field
• Current Illinois independent clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or comparable)
• Significant post-licensure clinical experience
• Strong experience working with children ages 5+, adolescents, parents, and families
• Expertise in family therapy, parent coaching, behavioral intervention, trauma-informed care, attachment-based work, or related approaches
• Confidence navigating complex family dynamics and challenging clinical situations
• Ability to travel to client homes and community locations throughout Chicagoland
• Flexibility for some evening and/or weekend appointments
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Advanced family-centered clinical training and experience in home, school, community, or other nontraditional settings are especially valued.
