Mental Health Therapist

As a Mental Health Therapist at Vivia Health, you will have a profound impact on improving the lives of patients by providing psychosocial support and treatment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with an interdisciplinary team to design comprehensive and holistic treatment plans covering therapy, medical healthcare, psychiatry, and case management.

We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent to join our team. As an therapist at Vivia Health, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, helping clients manage mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal goals. Your role will involve direct counseling, collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals, and connection to community resources.

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to clients managing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.
• Conduct assessments using interviews, observations, and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to holistically address clients’ physical and mental health needs.
• Support clients during crises and provide emergency interventions as necessary.
• Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Document and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops to promote social and emotional growth.
• Stay informed on current mental health trends, policies, and evidence-based practices to enhance care delivery continually.

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
• Active state licensure as an LPC or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an outpatient or similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism.

• Experience serving diverse or underserved populations.
• Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) credential.
