Laundry Worker

Part-time 11pm-7:00am

Every other weekend required

A skilled nursing facility is looking for a dependable and energetic individual to join its team in servicing the facility’s residents. This is a team oriented facility with a passion for delivering quality care to its residents.

Job Summary: The primary purpose of the Laundry Worker is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or of laundry to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and that an adequate supply of linen in on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

General Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds.

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a minimum one year experience working in a housekeeping/laundry position
