Key Qualifications and
Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification for the state of Illinois, or eligibility to obtain
- Strong foundation in psycho educational assessment, consultation, and intervention services
- Ability to provide comprehensive evaluations and support for students with various disabilities
- Knowledge of IEP development, special education procedures, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in school settings is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and support implementation of interventions, accommodations, and strategies both individually and school-wide
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to create effective learning environments
- Serve as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams for eligibility determinations and educational planning
- Offer counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Support students across one or more schools and various age groups, with assignments coordinated to align with your background
