The Pharmacist performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work in the compounding and dispensing of drugs and IV supplies. The Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals toplan, monitor, review and evaluate patient effectiveness and adverse effects. The pharmacist provides information and advice regarding drug interactions and potential side effects as well asanalyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
- Current registration and/or license as a Pharmacist in stateof practice required
- One (1) year of experience working as a licensed pharmacist preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
