The Director, Advanced Practice Provider Services is responsible for the clinical and operational leadership of APP Services at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, identifying and executing a variety of operational and strategic initiatives that optimize the support of our locations, with three primary goals:
Competitive candidates will have knowledge of organizational design and execution supported by business pro‑forma justifying key infrastructure and organizational investments. The candidate should also have strong communication skills, including ease in working with both physicians and corporate executives (such as content experts in coding, operations, contracting, finance, education, and research).
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:
Strategic Development of the APP Program- Development of the overarching APP Services strategy
- Assist in a recruitment strategy and plan that will successfully meet the needs of the practice for new APPs.
- Visualize and develop business opportunities that provide tangible and diverse streams of revenue for the practice – led by APPs
- Development of measures that describe a successful APP Program
- Develop practice infrastructure that supports the APPs and the patients they serve
- Look for models and opportunities to ensure efficiency for the APPs
- Define and implement realistic project management for initiatives identified for each fiscal year
