Respiratory Therapist – Join Our Skilled Nursing Team!

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

This is a great opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist who enjoys providing hands‑on patient care and building meaningful relationships with residents. You will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team to provide respiratory care, monitor residents, and support their overall comfort and well‑being.

What You'll Do
  • Provide respiratory therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.

  • Perform respiratory assessments and monitor residents for changes in respiratory status.

  • Provide treatments such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, breathing treatments, and other respiratory care as ordered.

  • Assist with respiratory equipment and ensure equipment is properly maintained and used safely.

  • Monitor oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, lung sounds, and other relevant clinical indicators.

  • Recognize changes in a resident's respiratory condition and communicate concerns promptly to nursing and medical staff.

  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management as appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Follow infection‑control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.

  • Provide compassionate, respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.

What We're Looking For
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license/credential required for the applicable state.

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

  • Current BLS certification required.

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long‑term care, hospital, rehabilitation, or post‑acute setting is preferred but not required.

  • Strong assessment and communication skills.

  • Dependable, professional, and compassionate approach to resident care.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • New graduates and experienced Respiratory Therapists are encouraged to apply.
