Patient Care Technician

This position involves providing direct patient care, supporting clinical procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a safe, clean environment within a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

• Current CNA certification or enrollment in nursing school with completed clinical rotations
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to achieve at least 90% on annual safety training quizzes
• Soft skills including flexibility, organization, multi-tasking, critical thinking, and composure under stress

• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, hygiene, feeding, mobility, vital signs, specimen collection, and newborn care
• Support procedures like EKGs, fetal monitoring, phlebotomy, oxygen setup, and post-operative care
• Maintain documentation and report changes in patient condition
• Ensure cleanliness, stock supplies, and support a patient-first culture through team participation
