BehavioralHealth Technician (Regional - Chicago Market)
Location: Chicago, IL (Supports Chicago, Glenview & Hoffman Estates Centers)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $22-$24/hour DOE + Full Benefits Package
Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers invites you to join our dedicated team. We're seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in our welcoming outpatient centers. - Schedule:
Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts. Shifts will vary and are scheduled between 7am-7pm. This role requires consistent availability during those hours, though exact shift times may vary. - Regional Coverage Role: This position supports our Chicago-area centers, including Chicago, Glenview, and Hoffman Estates. Reliable personal transportation is required for travel between centers.
Deliver Exceptional Patient Care
- Administer TMS and esketamine treatments according to clinical protocols
- Monitor patient responses and comfort during treatment
- Complete psychiatric rating scales and clinical documentation
- Provide compassionate support throughout the patient journey
Coordinate the Patient Experience
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EHR)
- Support financial and administrative processes
Support Clinic Operations
- Assist with insurance and billing processes as needed
- Help ensure efficient daily clinic operations
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or equivalent clinical certification (Required)'
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (Preferred)
- Experience in fast-paced patient-facing, customer service, or healthcare environments
- Stable and consistent work history
- Healthcare experience or internship equivalent to one year (Preferred)
Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with EHR systems (AdvancedMD and Salesforce preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be willing and able to travel between Chicago-area clinic locations as needed to meet business and operational needs.
- Reliable transportation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided upon hire).
