Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department care for a travel assignment in Libertyville, IL. This role involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center, where your expertise and quick decision-making are crucial for patient outcomes. - Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
- Perform IV starts, assist with chest tube insertion, and titrate medications (pressors, insulin, sedation)
- Administer stroke treatment, including TPA, and manage trauma cases
- Participate in tasks such as lab draws and maintaining contamination-free blood cultures
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination
- Active RN License
- 2 years of recent ED experience
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC; CPI/MOAB, TCRN, TNS, ENPC preferred - Experience with EPIC EMR and skills such as US-guided IV placement
