The Owl is hiring Door Staff. Door Staff is the first point of contact our guests encounter when entering our establishment. We expect exceptional, friendly service, along with a strong work ethic. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team!
The Owl has become known as the late-night destination in Logan Square. However, we're open at 4pm every night for half price happy hour, which makes us the perfect spot for an early evening hang after work. We also have touring live bands, resident DJs, and other awesome events, which are always free!

- Greet guests in a friendly way and check IDs as they enter the establishment
- Maintain lines and crowd control
- Enforce rules to keep the location fun and safe, and remove guests if needed
- Clean and remove trash throughout bar, including patios & restrooms
- Assist in private parties as needed, including setup, tear down, cleaning, and assisting guests with their belongings to their cars
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Well-spoken individual with ability to effectively interact with guests and staff
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Be a good teammate
- Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
- Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
