Job Description

RH is seeking a Leader, Hospitality Events Operations to lead the regional operations and strategy for Hospitality Events across multiple restaurant locations within an assigned Hospitality region. In partnership with key stakeholders, this role establishes event standards and operating principles that ensure alignment with RH’s service, brand, and financial goals. As a key leader within the Hospitality business, the role partners closely with Senior Leadership, restaurant and culinary teams, and corporate partners to shape and evolve the events program—balancing guest experience, operational excellence, and business performance.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, a hospitality-first mindset, and comfort leading through complexity in a fast‑paced environment.
- Lead the regional Hospitality Events strategy in partnership with key stakeholders, establishing standards and priorities to guide event planning and execution across multiple restaurant locations
- Serve as the primary strategic partner for event hosts, providing guidance, recommendations, and oversight throughout the planning lifecycle to ensure alignment with RH service and brand standards
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Senior Leadership, restaurant and culinary teams, vendors, corporate partners, and Gallery leadership to ensure cohesive planning and consistent execution
- Evaluate event opportunities, scope, and feasibility, balancing guest expectations, operational capacity, and financial outcomes
- Serve as a brand ambassador by fostering community engagement, leading intentional client outreach, and cultivating long‑term guest relationships that support sustained event demand and revenue growth
- Oversee a portfolio of concurrent events, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to established standards and timelines
- Maintain event documentation and post‑event recaps, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform continuous improvement across the events program
- Analyze event performance, conversion rates, and demand trends to develop data‑driven recommendations that influence forecasting, capacity planning, and profitability
- 2 to 3 years of experience supporting or leading hospitality or events initiatives within a multi‑unit environment
- Experience working cross‑functionally with senior leaders and operational teams
- Working knowledge of reservations, sales, or catering systems
- Strong judgment, communication, and guest‑facing leadership skills
- Some on‑site event coordination may be required
- Knowledge of the local market and competitive set preferred
- Working knowledge of reservations and sales & catering systems
- Strong interpersonal/guest experience skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace applications
- Based within the designated RH Hospitality region, with the flexibility to travel to nearby RH restaurant locations (SF Bay Area, NYC, or Chicago, IL)
- Lift and mobilize items up to 50 lbs while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Navigate event spaces, including dining rooms, kitchens, and Gallery environments, as needed to support oversight and coordination
- Work a flexible schedule when business needs require, including occasional evenings or weekends related to events
