Team Leader – Stewarding

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your Role

As the Team Leader – Stewarding, you’ll be responsible for supervising stewarding operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen and F&B back‑of‑house areas, while supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding activities across all kitchen and F&B outlets
  • Ensure proper cleaning, washing, and sanitation of kitchen utensils, equipment, and service ware
  • Monitor dishwashing operations to maintain hygiene and operational standards
  • Assign tasks and guide stewarding colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all back‑of‑house and storage areas
  • Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to support smooth daily operations
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Report maintenance issues related to stewarding equipment and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support inventory control of cleaning supplies and stewarding materials
  • Support pre‑opening stewarding setup and operational readiness
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in stewarding operations within hotels or large F&B establishments
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation procedures, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to manage a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent English communication skills
