The Opportunity

Sky Bridge Luxury & Associates is conducting a highly confidential search for an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage on behalf of a distinguished hospitality property located on Chicagos North Shore.

This leadership opportunity is ideal for a polished, hands-on operator who understands elevated service, distinctive dining experiences, and the expectations of a discerning local clientele. The Director will oversee the propertys complete food and beverage operation while driving service excellence, financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all food and beverage functions
  • Maintain consistently elevated standards of service and hospitality
  • Lead, mentor, and develop restaurant, beverage, banquet, and service teams
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, and profitability
  • Partner with culinary leadership on menus, programming, and concept development
  • Strengthen beverage offerings and overall dining experiences
  • Direct private events, celebrations, meetings, and catering operations
  • Monitor guest feedback and address concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and responsible-service standards
  • Collaborate with property leadership on broader business objectives

Ideal Candidate

  • Progressive food and beverage leadership experience within an upscale hotel, private club, resort, or respected restaurant group
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, banquet, and event operations
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and developing hospitality professionals
  • Sound financial and business acumen
  • Strong understanding of beverage operations
  • Polished communication and relationship-building skills
  • A visible, hands-on leadership style
  • Ability to build loyalty among guests and the surrounding community
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
