Additional Requirements: Must have open availability weekdays and weekends. Must be bilingual in Spanish!

The Lead Housekeeper monitors and inspects the work of the Room Attendants,Public Area Attendants, and Laundry Attendants. They may also responsibly assist in scheduling, training, and cleaning rooms when necessary and will be responsible for closing and opening the department as needed.

• Ensures that rooms are turned efficiently and in accordance with hotel cleanliness standards.
• Inspects Room Attendants’ rooms per the request of management.
• Assists the Housekeeping Manager in training and development of the Room Attendants.
• Completes opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Rushes vacant rooms so that Host Services can pre-register guests and rushes early check- in rooms.
• Assigns checklist to Public Space Attendants.
• Logs items into the Lost and Found and answers inquiries to maintain controls.
• Assists in cleaning rooms, the public area, and laundry department when necessary.
• Reports any discrepancy in room status immediately to Manager.
• Inspects maintenance rooms before released for sale.
• Ensures that room attendants have all the supplies they need to carry out their
• functions.
• Reports any rooms that are unable to be serviced (Do not Disturb) to manager.
• Assists with key control.

• Understands and implements the hotel’s recycling programs, and “green”cleaning initiatives.
• Follow hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Respond to guest’s special requests
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standard sand procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning,sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash/rubbish, etc.

Housekeeping task assignments will be created daily based onroom types and structured to ensure a fair workload for each

Room Attendant (RA).

Hotel Arista has determined that for each Room Attendant in an8.5-hour shift (7.5 hours worked) the standard number per shift 21credits. If a Room Attendant exceeds the standard credit amountin one day, they will obtain additional incentive pay per 0.25 credit.

• Room Attendant’s will be given the opportunity to buy additional rooms beyond their daily assignment.
  
  Opportunities to buy rooms will be offered when there are overflow or dropped rooms available.
• Incentive payout on credits will be issued bi-weekly andpaid out fractionally every 0.25 credits.
• All rooms cleaned must still follow company cleaning standards and be able to pass manager inspection. roomcould be deemed ineligible for payout if room cleaning does not pass manager inspection, but the associate would be notified.
• A Room Attendant outside of their 90-day probation period who fails to complete their assignment (within the allotted 7.5 hours) or who consistently does not complete their daily task assignments may face disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
• Hotel Arista reserves the right to change the program at Lead Room Attendant any time.

• High School/Two Year College Degree or equivalent background

• Hotel Housekeeping background preferred.
• Two to three years room cleaning experience with success in self inspectionsor one to two years of supervisory experience within a luxury environment.

• Strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and staffing levels.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights weekends, and
• holidays.
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to lift, push and pull 25 to 50 pounds.
