Culinary Coordinator

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Chicago, we are seeking a Culinary Coordinator to join our Food & Beverage operations.

• Work for a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

• Complete and accurately handle all inquiry calls.
• Provide administrative support for designated manager as requested to include correspondence, mail, phone coverage, filing and maintaining files.
• Coordinate and maintain employee training records for culinary team members.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
• Assist with payroll administration.

• Must have at least 1 year experience in an administrative role in a guest focused company, hotel industry preferred.
• Extensive knowledge on administrative systems including MS Office:
  Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English to all staff and management.
• 1 year of experience using Birchstreet preferred.

Previous experience in hospitality, culinary, food & beverage, or hotel operations required.

The salary range for this role is $24-27 per hour.
