spearhead hospitality is a chicago based boutique hospitality management company with a portfolio that includes the robey hotel, valedor, canal street eatery & market and caché 310 with a potential of additional properties under management.

hosts
are responsible for the initial warm greeting and seating of guests, answering of telephones, taking reservations and messages, maintaining accurate guest counts and wait times, and saying goodbye to all guests. Oversees dining room and acts as a brand ambassador to guests.

duties & responsibilities
  • greet all eatery guests by being attentive to them as soon as they walk through the door
  • create a welcome environment for guests, when appropriate refer to guests by their names.
  • guide guests to their tables with menus.
  • manage the floor plan and pay special attention to reservations and ensure they are seated in a timely manner.
  • use tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges, and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy
  • become proficient in and perform host duties
  • understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu
  • understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
  • comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
  • clean, organize, and stock menus at host area.
  • answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.
  • observe the entire dining experience ensuring that every moment at the exceeds expectations
