Lobby Ambassador – JLL
The Lobby Ambassador is the face of exceptional workplace hospitality at JLL's Chicago Cisco Office. In this dynamic, client-facing role, you'll deliver world-class guest and employee experiences through warm, proactive engagement and outstanding service. You'll greet visitors with enthusiasm, anticipate needs before they're expressed, and ensure every touchpoint—from pre-arrival to departure—reflects JLL's commitment to creating memorable workplace environments. Warmly welcome and assist all guests, visitors, and employees with arrivals, departures, and office orientations
Provide exceptional face-to-face engagement, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression
Conduct strategic site walks during optimal times to maintain visibility while ensuring continuous lobby coverage
Serve as the go-to resource for local recommendations—restaurants, hotels, attractions, and events
Proactively coordinate with clients and internal teams to anticipate visitor needs and prepare for all arrivals
Act as a central information hub for campus way finding, facility services, and activities
Support meeting coordination, reception services, and mailroom operations as needed
Manage high-volume mail and package operations, including receipt, sorting, distribution, and tracking across all carriers (Fed Ex, UPS, USPS)
Maintain organized shipment tracking systems ensuring accountability, timely notifications, and chain-of-custody compliance
Coordinate outgoing mail and courier services, including packaging, labeling, and carrier scheduling
Oversee mailroom operations, inventory management of shipping supplies, and adherence to security and confidentiality standards
Build professional networks within the local hospitality industry
Collaborate across facility management teams to deliver a seamless, hospitality-driven service approach.
Minimum 2–3 years of customer service or hospitality-related experience
Proven track record as a "people person" who thrives on creating exceptional experiences
Outstanding communication skills with professional written and verbal fluency in English
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining service excellence and accuracy
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Working knowledge of various information technology tools and platforms
Confident, professional demeanor with exceptional responsiveness and service orientation
Flexibility and positive attitude in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with corporate or commercial office environments
Basic knowledge of security protocols (visitor check-in, badge control, access management)
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy practices in professional settings
Experience with vendor relationship management and local hospitality networks.

Successful candidates will begin in a temporary capacity (90 days) ith the potential to transition to a permanent position

Estimated compensation for this position:
50,300.00 – 50,300.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
