The Executive Meeting Manager is a key member of our Sales Team, specializing in creating exceptional experiences for smaller meetings and groups of 50 guests or fewer. This hands-on, relationship-driven role guides clients through the entire sales journey while building lasting relationships, bringing their ideas to life, and creating memorable events that drive successful experiences and repeat business. This position is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in making every event feel effortless and special.
ESSENTIALDUTIES/RESPONIBILITIES
- Turn conversations into opportunities! Respond to leads, connect with clients, uncover what they are looking for and turn that inquiry into exciting meetings and event possibilities.
- Sell the experience – showcase our hotel, spaces, food – what clients can get excited about, while creating proposals that make clients say, "This is exactly what I had in mind."
- You're the creative mind behind the meeting. Helping clients bring their vision to life, from the big picture to the little details that make an event feel uniquely theirs.
- Make the magic happen behind the scenes by coordinating everything from room setups and timelines to food and beverage, AV, special requests, and all the details that make an event run beautifully.
- Bring people together across the hotel – Work alongside Sales, Food & Beverage, Operations, Front Office, and other teams to turn the plan into an incredible experience.
- You OWN the guest experience. The smiling face they see when they arrive, check in throughout their event, solve challenges on the spot, and ensure clients know they're in great hands!
- Have a hand in something different every day – no two groups, clients or events are exactly alike. Use your personality, creativity and problem-solving skills to create experiences guests will remember – and want to come back for.
- Participate in communication and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote sales.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Local Travel required. Own vehicle required for sales calls.
- Hours:
days and times may vary based on need, must be available when personal accounts are in-house.
- Strong Follow up skills required.
- Strong knowledge of Guest Room Sales.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent hearing required for verbal interactions with guests and associates.
- Excellent vision required for viewing set-ups.
- Excellent speech communication skills required for verbal interaction with guests and associates.
- Excellent comprehension and literacy required to develop marketing plans, create menus, and programs, etc.
- Able to perform the essential functions as outlined with or without reasonable accommodation.
