• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming,and cleaning
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout theshift
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness and inspects them to verify brand standards are being met.
• Coach, counsel, and provide corrective action to housekeeping associates on performance not meeting expectations and discrepancies found in rooms
• Notifies GMand/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairsnecessaryin rooms or on property
• Interviews, hires, develops, and disciplines direct employees
• Perform property walk and reportidentifieddeficiencies
• Participates in scheduling employees to business demands and tracking employee time and attendance
• Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financialobjectivesare met
• Manages Housekeeping inventory, ensuring that team has dedicated tools, supplies, and resources to complete assigned tasks and work.
• Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED. Post high school education preferred

Minimum Of 2 Years Inhousekeeping Leadership Experience

• Basic math skills
• HMSand/or experience using a property management system (PMS)
• Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and inwriting
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills
