Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company located in Elk Grove Village, IL. Their commitment to excellence and dedication to employees' well-being and professional development drive everything they do.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team at the Elk Grove Village plant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, with specific knowledge in payroll, taxes, retirement plans, and health insurance. This role will be responsible for operational and administrative recruitment, onboarding, supplier management, and ensuring local implementation of group policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in payroll calculations.
- Oversee tax-related matters and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Administer retirement plans and health insurance benefits, including enrollment and ongoing management.
- Conduct operational and administrative recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors related to HR services.
- Ensure local implementation of group policies and procedures, adapting them as necessary to meet the needs of the plant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on payroll, taxes, retirement plans, and health insurance.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
