Talent Manager, HR Manager
Our client is a leading global proprietary trading firm in Chicago that is seeking a strategic and high-impact Learning and Development Manager. This role will be based in Chicago and will support the full operational lifecycle of talent initiatives, including the design and execution of development strategies that enhance skills, prepare future leaders, and align with global business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement talent development programs that align with the firm’s mission and long-term goals.
- Oversee leadership development, mentoring programs, and career progression initiatives.
- Partner closely with senior business leaders and HR to identify capability gaps and create targeted learning plans.
- Manage the firm’s Employee Survey Programs to measure engagement and drive continuous improvement.
- Use measurable outcomes and ROI metrics to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Support the firm’s values through the oversight and promotion of Employee Resource Group (ERG) activities.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in learning & development or talent management, preferably within a fast-paced or technical environment.
- Possess a deep understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles; proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR tech is essential.
- Strong coaching and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organization.
- Analytical mindset for measuring training effectiveness and a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
