Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00 / Hourly - Contract to Hire
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, HYBRID 2 – 3 days onsite

Job Description:
The People & Culture Manager leads the daily operations of the People & Culture team, ensuring efficient management of benefits, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and team development initiatives. This role reports directly to senior leadership and oversees a small HR operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily People & Culture operations, including benefits administration, learning programs, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
- Supervise and develop HR Operations Associates, fostering team growth and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely benefits administration, including healthcare, retirement plans (403B), and leave management.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, updating policies as needed.
- Support performance management processes such as goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles.
- Lead HR-related projects and initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits, leaves, and HR policies.
- Generate reports and documentation for audits and organizational assessments.
- Partner with leadership to reinforce company culture and values across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in HR or related field preferred. - HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- 5–7 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 3–5 years in management.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, benefits administration, and employment law.
- Experience managing high-volume onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and adaptable to change.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with HR software (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
