Operations Analyst

Our client is hiring an HR Operations Analyst for a 6-month hybrid contract in Chicago (2 days onsite per week) to support a high-volume HR Operations team. This role focuses on delivering accurate, timely support to internal employees while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.

• Act as the first point of contact for internal HR-related inquiries via phone, chat, and ticketing systems
• Provide accurate guidance on HR policies, procedures, and systems
• Support and process HR transactions, including guiding users through Workday submissions
• Perform operational processing with appropriate documentation and follow-up
• Track and manage all requests using Service Now
• Conduct outbound follow-ups to resolve open items and confirm information
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex cases when needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Take ownership of requests and proactively anticipate customer needs
• Prepare mail merges and manage document templates using Docu Sign

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, call center, or service-oriented roles
• Experience working with HR systems such as Workday and Service Now preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and lookups
• Experience performing mail merges for large employee populations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused mindset with experience supporting high-volume requests
