Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant for Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll, you will guide clients through the implementation, customization, and continuous improvement of Workday's human capital management (HCM) solutions, focusing on the Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules. You will design and deliver tailored solutions to meet clients' specific needs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Design Efficient Time Management Processes:
    Design and configure time management processes that align with clients' policies and regulatory requirements, leveraging modern time tracking methodologies to optimize performance.
  • Configure Payroll Structures:
    Develop and implement payroll structures that meet clients' specific needs, ensuring compliance with global payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Manage Absences:
    Design and manage absence management processes that align with clients' policies and regulatory requirements, utilizing absence management best practices to minimize errors and ensure compliance.
  • Lead Workshops and Training Sessions:
    Deliver workshops and training sessions to end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize the Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules for accurate time recording, leave management, and payroll processing.
  • Provide Post-Go-Live Support:
    Offer post-go-live support, including data validation and troubleshooting, to ensure smooth system operation and resolve any issues that may arise.

This role can be performed from anywhere in the US and will require traveling based on business needs.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Deep Expertise in Workday HCM Solutions:
    Proven experience with Workday's human capital management (HCM) solutions, specifically the Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules, with a strong understanding of their integration and optimization.
  • Global Payroll Regulations Knowledge:
    In-depth knowledge of global payroll regulations and best practices, with experience in designing and implementing compliant payroll structures.
  • Time Tracking Methodologies Expertise:
    Advanced understanding of modern time tracking methodologies, with experience in designing and configuring efficient time management processes.
  • Absence Management Best Practices:
    Deep understanding of absence management best practices, with experience in designing and managing absence management processes that minimize errors and ensure compliance.
  • Complex Problem-Solving Abilities:
    Proven ability to address complex issues arising during system configuration or usage, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Global Payroll Compliance Knowledge:
    Experience with global payroll regulations and best practices, including designing and implementing compliant payroll structures, is beneficial for this role.
  • Advanced Time Tracking Methodologies:
    Familiarity with modern time tracking methodologies, including designing and configuring efficient time management processes, is advantageous.
  • Absence Management Expertise:
    Knowledge of absence management best practices, including designing and managing absence management processes that minimize errors and ensure compliance, is desirable.
