Summary

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the HR function for an assigned business group. The HRBP is a strategic partner to business leaders, executes on initiatives related to the overall people and business strategies, evaluates risk, and helps to drive organizational effectiveness. You will provide business leaders data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

You understand end to end onboarding, offboarding, promotion, demotion, and the employee life cycle within the organization. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. This position will be a strategic partner to the VP of HR.

Core Responsibilities
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to an assigned business group on a broad array of HR issues, including coaching, consulting, employee relations, employee development, performance management, separations, compensation/benefits, employee engagement, cultural change and building positive work environments
  • Prioritizes effectively to deliver results both as a strategic leadership partner and a hands‑on HR representative with a “pulse” of the employees at all levels of the organization
  • Builds relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people‑related strategy and execution
  • Participates and serves as an HR team member on various company initiatives championing absorption by the business and leading execution and completion of outlined goals
  • Supports the performance management cycle, advising and coaching in areas of goal setting, mid‑year feedback, development and implementation of performance improvement plans, annual performance feedback assessment and the compensation planning process
  • Counsels managers on employee relations issues including policies and procedures interpretation, harassment and discrimination, HR compliance, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, Wage and Hour Law, I‑9 compliance, etc.
  • Designs presentations and facilitates training to business groups; provides technical expertise and analytical support
  • Collaborates with managers and HR Coordinators to ensure employment changes are processed timely and accurately
  • Coordinates leaves of absences and employee accommodations; coaches and consults employees and managers to ensure compliance with state and federal leave guidance
  • Supports human resources solutions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information, recommending courses of action
  • Maintains the integrity of the I‑9/E‑Verify process; partners with and audits HR Generalists/HR Coordinators to ensure accuracy and completion according to government regulations/timeline
  • Audits processes and procedures to measure quality including, but not limited to, new hire process transactions, contingent hires, leave of absence, separations, employment authorization, performance counseling, and business risk assessment
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Partners with VP of HR to manage H1‑B Visa process for new hires alongside other talent management activities and initiatives
