About the RoleEverspring is looking for a bold, modern, and highly strategic Senior Vice President of Human Resources to lead and evolve our people function for our next stage of growth. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced HR leader, and a strategic thinker who thrives in the face of challenge, finds new and innovative ways to drive improvement, and is unafraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
They are by nature a people person, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to oversee, build, and cultivate the interrelated people functions for our growing team.
The SVP HR will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, partnering closely with the CEO and other leaders to align talent strategy with business priorities. They will be equal parts strategist and builder: able to shape culture, attract exceptional talent, and create scalable people programs that help teams perform at their best. We seek a leader who is not only deeply experienced in human resources, but also tech‑savvy, data‑driven, and fluent in how modern tools — including AI — can improve recruitment, employee experience, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
They will oversee a small team and should be energized by change, comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, and excited to build a high‑impact people function that is ready for where work is going, not where it has been.
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is located in Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule that includes at least three in‑office days each week, plus additional onsite time as needed to support business priorities.

What You’ll Own Human Capital Strategy- Partnering with the CEO and other senior leaders, you will set the strategic vision for Everspring’s human capital, covering talent, organizational design and structure, compensation, onboarding, training, development, and culture
- You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and bring new and creative thinking to help drive growth
- You will translate that vision into actionable processes, policies and capabilities and lead the HR team to execute the changes necessary to put them into practice
- Build and lead a forward‑looking talent strategy aligned to Everspring’s growth goals
- Oversee full‑cycle recruiting across functions, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and strong hiring outcomes
- Develop and execute a strategic plan backed with market data and talent insights to maintain Everspring as an employer‑of‑choice
- Strengthen new hire onboarding program to accelerate productivity, engagement, and retention
- Partner with leaders to identify current and future talent needs, succession opportunities, and capability gaps
