Job Summary
As a Staffing Consultant
, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies in your local market. This full-cycle recruiting role involves sourcing, engaging candidates, coaching them through the application process, and managing job offers. You will also collaborate with your team to discuss open positions, post job advertisements, and utilize online sourcing tools.
- Identify prospective candidates via job boards, Linked In, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking
- Proactively cold‑call to identify and recruit potential candidates
- Interview prospective candidates and assess fit with client needs
- Prepare candidates for interviews with client companies – review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews
- Extend job offers and manage the offer process for candidates
- Check in with candidates on assignment to ensure they have everything they need
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Passion for working with people and a strong ability to build relationships
- Self‑motivated, with the tenacity to make follow‑up calls and push beyond the 100‑call baseline
- Leadership skills and competitive drive to excel in a sales‑focused environment
- Judgment and discretion to match candidates with business needs and client culture
- Drive to meet goals and metrics, with a get‑up‑and‑go attitude
