Comprehensive Management, Inc. (CMI) is a small private for-profit management and consulting firm focused on improving performance and productivity while maintaining high quality standards for our not-for-profit client.
Responsibilities- Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and wellness benefits.
- Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
- Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits enrollment, changes and terminations are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
- Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
- Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs; resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
- Reconcile benefits statements.
- Administer FMLA, including documentation, tracking and assisting employees.
- Administer COBRA, including paperwork for terminated employees, maintaining COBRA spreadsheet; send payments received to Payroll Manager.
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible start/end time)

Pay Rate$18.00 - $25.00 per hour; based on experience

Experience and SkillsEducation and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required
. Associate's degree in HR or related field preferred. One year of benefits administration required
. Experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education. Must have good computer and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player and maintain confidentiality. Must be well organized, have attention to detail, able to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure. Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
