Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a crucial role in aligning client human resources practices with business objectives, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring a positive client & employee experience. The position will oversee the HR management of new Rising Tide HR client(s) and support the HRBP team with existing clients, providing HR leadership, strategy, project management, and day‑to‑day administration.
LocationCalifornia – San Luis Obispo County (Remote)
Responsibilities- Client Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, timely communication, and identifying growth opportunities. - Strategic Partnering:
Collaborate with client business leaders to align HR guidance with business strategy and create HR strategy, including executive‑level support. - Employee Relations:
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and guide managers on conflict resolution. - Talent Management:
Lead talent acquisition strategy, identify staffing needs, organize recruitment efforts, and support onboarding documentation. - Performance Management:
Implement performance management processes, coach managers and employees to enhance performance. - Pay & Benefits:
Oversee payroll and employee benefits, ensuring accurate payroll processes, compliance, and competitive compensation packages. - Learning and Development:
Identify training needs with leadership, select or design development programs, and support implementation of learning initiatives. - HR Policies and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with employment laws, review and update HR policies and procedures. - Data Management & Analysis:
Maintain HRIS and payroll systems, provide HRIS analytics insights into workforce trends and key metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
Master’s or HR certification a plus. - 2+ years experience as an HR Generalist, Business Partner, or similar role.
- 1+ years experience as an HR consultant a plus.
- Experience in a variety of fields.
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
- Substantial experience building HR programs and implementing new programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (BambooHR, ADP, Payolcity, UKG, Gusto, etc), Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
