Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Intern to support the HR team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical individual with strong technology skills who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and improving processes. The intern will assist with recruiting, HR systems, reporting, employee engagement initiatives, benefits administration, and special projects while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The intern will also support onboarding activities, assist with data entry, and help with day-to-day HR functions in a professional HR environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, document management, and general HR operations tasks
  • Support document processing efforts, including scanning and organizing HR and employee records
  • Assist with pension file maintenance and recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems
  • Help organize and support employee engagement initiatives and company events
  • Assist with benefits-related administrative tasks and respond to general employee inquiries
  • Support HR compliance efforts, including recordkeeping and audit preparation
  • Participate in HR projects such as policy updates, training programs, or process improvements
  • Support onboarding processes including preparing new hire materials and coordinating orientation sessions
  • Help organize and support employee engagement initiatives and company events
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and eager to learn
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internship or administrative experience
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP
  • Interest in HR career development
Work Environment

This position will be based in-office with a hybrid schedule. The intern will collaborate closely with the HR team and other departments.
