The Healthcare Recruiter at Med-Call Healthcare Staffing plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and placing qualified healthcare professionals across multiple settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, community health and outpatient centers. This role blends high volume recruiting, relationship management, and sales driven outreach to support Med-Call’s mission of delivering exceptional staffing solutions and outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Source, recruit and build relationships with healthcare professionals
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting candidates, offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to understand client needs, priority orders, and workforce gaps.
- Present qualified candidates to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain organized and accurate candidate pipelines through CRM usage.
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, text and other recruitment resources to attract talent.
- Provide multiple touchpoints with placed staff before, during and after assignments.
- Resolve scheduling issues, attendance concerns, and performance management with employed healthcare professionals.
- Build a strong referral network through relationship management.
- Meet or exceed weekly activity expectations and monthly placement goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to candidates and ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain compliance standards, ensuring all required credentialing documents are received and verified with compliance team
- Support urgent, crisis, and rapid response staffing needs when required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, or high-volume outreach roles.
- Strong communication, relationship building, and selling skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and modern sourcing tools.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Comfort with high-volume phone activity and outbound communication.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Healthcare staffing or agency recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles.
- Experience in cold-calling, candidate sourcing, or sales-driven environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards.

This is a hybrid position. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required during high-priority or crisis staffing needs.
ScheduleFull-Time, exempt.
CompensationBase +Commission:
This position includes eligibility for a competitive commission plan based on individual performance metrics.
