The Human Resources (HR) Senior Coordinator supports the Corporate HR team by coordinating key HR operations and providing exceptional service to the Firm's business professional population. This role is responsible for administering onboarding, employee lifecycle transactions, consultant onboarding, timesheet processing, and offboarding activities while ensuring accurate HR data and timely completion of critical processes. The HR Senior Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and supports HR programs and initiatives for corporate business professionals in Chicago and other U.S. offices, as needed.

Duties

And Responsibilities
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires in Workday, including initiating onboarding activities, monitoring completion of required documentation, and ensuring all employment records are accurate and completed on time.
  • Create, process, and distribute HR documentation related to employee lifecycle events, including new hires, non-employees, interns, terminations, position and status changes, compensation changes, and leaves of absence.
  • Oversee the approval and onboarding process for external consultants supporting the Corporate organization, ensuring compliance with Firm policies and required documentation.
  • Review and process employee timesheets in Workday on a biweekly basis to support accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Coordinate and support new hire orientation by preparing materials, scheduling sessions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, including preparing departure documentation, scheduling exit interviews, and preparing exit interview summaries.
  • Monitor the Corporate Human Resources inbox, respond to routine employee inquiries, and route requests to the appropriate HR team member to ensure timely resolution.
  • Answer general employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters or direct inquiries to the appropriate resource.
  • Support the administration of the annual performance management process, including coordinating documentation and administrative activities.
  • Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives to support the Corporate HR team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and/or

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
  • Prior human resources, professional services or general office experience
  • Desire to grow a career in human resources
  • Strong proficiency in Excel

The Target Salary Range For This Role Is

$55,000 - $68,000 if located in Illinois.

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
