Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Contract Attorney Recruiting Coordinator is a critical, execution-focused role supporting a high-volume, fast-paced attorney recruiting function. This position sits at the center of student, lateral associate, and programmatic recruiting activity and is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, manages competing priorities with confidence, and enjoys being deeply involved in time-sensitive, detail-orientated work. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a seamless candidate experience while enabling the recruiting team to meet aggressive hiring demands in a high-expectations professional services environment.

This position requires exceptional organization, responsiveness, and judgment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an environment characterized by frequent deadlines, shifting priorities, and significant volume across interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruiting operations.

Core Responsibilities:

High-Volume Interview Coordination & Candidate Management
  • Coordinate a large volume of attorney interviews across multiple offices and time zones, including scheduling, calendar management, room reservations, virtual interview logistics, and technology support.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely, professional, and high-touch communication throughout all stages of the recruiting process.
  • Prepare and distribute interview materials, agendas, and candidate information; collect and track interviewer feedback under tight turnaround times.
  • Manage rapid rescheduling requests and last-minute changes with discretion, accuracy, efficiency, and composure.
Student Recruitment & Summer Associate Program Support
  • Provide intensive administrative and logistical support for virtual and on-campus interviews (OCI), resume collections, callback interviews, and law school engagement activities.
  • Support planning and execution of the summer associate program, including orientation, events, evaluations, and participation tracking.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for student candidates and summer associates, ensuring data integrity despite high transaction volume.
  • Assist with program evaluations, surveys, and post-season reporting.
  • Support lateral associate recruiting by coordinating interviews, managing candidate workflows, and assisting with offer and onboarding logistics.
  • Track candidate status, interview outcomes, and offer activity in recruiting systems and trackers.
  • Ensure consistent process execution during periods of heavy lateral hiring demand.
Recruiting Operations, Data & Process Management
  • Maintain recruiting databases, trackers, templates, and documentation to support efficient, repeatable processes at scale.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports related to interview volume, candidate pipelines, offers, and program metrics.
  • Support data collection and basic analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Assist with recruiting-related invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor coordination.
Team & Stakeholder Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the attorney recruiting team, including meeting coordination and internal communications.
  • Partner closely with recruiters, hiring partners, and firm leadership to support demanding timelines and high service expectations.
  • Handle highly confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Qualifications & Capabilities
  • 3-5+ years of experience in attorney recruiting, legal recruiting coordination, or high-volume professional services support strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage heavy workloads, frequent deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished, responsive, and professional candidate-facing presence.
  • Comfort working with recruiting data, reports, and spreadsheets to support operational and analytical needs.
  • High degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and applicant tracking systems.
